One of the great benefits of being a member of the ILI is that there is the opportunity to network with people who daily face the same challenges that you do. Undoubtedly if you have an agronomy problem there is another member who has faced exactly the same problem. There is already a huge bank of shared learning available to all members.
Fairways, greens, the rough and bunkers – each and every one is unique on a links course. The same problems and challenges have been there since the first links, albeit exacerbated in many cases by the belief that the solution should be the same for all types of courses. Happily that myth is gradually being dispelled.
As a member of the ILI you can seek solutions from fellow members. This can be done in a number of ways. It can of course be done at one of our bi-annual ILI meetings. Equally if the problem needs to be more swiftly you can put a message out to members detailing the problem.
This can be done by contacting anyone on the ILI committee or using the form below.
